What a Smart Kid....

So, today when I was cleaning out Stone's homework folder I came across a certificate that read something like this...

is awarded this certificate in recognition of scoring in the

top ten percent nationally.

WOW, can you believe it? TOP TEN PERCENT NATIONALLY!!! What a smart kid. He must get that from his Dad cause heaven knows he doesn't get it from me. Anyways I was just VERY PROUD!

HAPPY BRITHDAY STRYKER!!!

Stryker is turning two today, and it's KILLING me. Why can't I just have one kid that stays small forever. It seems like time has just flew by, especially with him. I remember when I was pregnant with him, and I was so excited for the hospital stay. ( I know that sounds weird. But with three other kids at home, I knew that it was going to be some of the only time I would be able to spend with just him.) Well for those of you who don't know Stryker ended up being in Newborn ICU the whole time. So my hospital stay was very hard. I sat in a room by myself (Because people don't come visit you if they can't see the baby.) and listened to the crying baby next door. Needless to say I spent most of my time in a chair in Newborn ICU.

After four days he was able to come home. And since then time has just flew by. He was such a good baby, hardly ever cried, and was always so content. I think he just knew he had to be good, because I was always so busy with the other kids that crying would have gotten him nowhere.

Now he has turned into quite the hand full. I love the fact that he will always be my baby, no matter how big he gets. And I love that he can be just a little bit mean. (It's hilarious to watch.) And I like it that he doesn't talk very good, it makes him seem much smaller then he is. (It's kept him a baby a little longer.) He is such a good boy, loves his brothers and his sister. He plays so hard trying to keep up with them. He loves to be outside, or watching Cars. He is such a joy in are life, we are so blessed to have him.

We LOVE you more than words can say...

FINALLY we got the warm weather we all needed so bad...

Josh and I were so excited when the weather was good on Sunday. We had been waiting what seemed like FOREVER to get out and get somethings done in the yard. It felt so good, and the kids played so hard, especially Stryker. Now that he is almost two he really LOVES to play outside.

But when all was said and done this is what he ended up looking like.

At this point he had DEFINITELY had ENOUGH!!!

MOVIE NIGHT...

One of my kids favorite things to do, is to have a movie night. They love having the whole family together, getting popcorn and M&M's and snuggling up on the couch. So when Alvin and the Chipmunk's came out on DVD, they couldn't resist (even though we already saw it TWICE in theaters). I'M SOOO TIRED OF IT ALREADY!!!

I promise that Stone does smile. He just dosen't like his teeth. (O' those ovely adult teeth)

DANCE, DANCE, DANCE!!!

Swayze had a Dance Competition on Saturday. Which is very, very stressful for everyone (especially when you have 3 other BOYS, who hate to watch dance.) But it truly was a big success. Swayze did so well. All three of her dances got GOLD ratings. And her trio won first overall. It was AWESOME, and I love to watch her dance.
